Rich with storied history and actual eyewitness encounters\, the “Haunts” walking tour takes you on a spirited journey through downtown Littleton and reveals many of its centuries-long tales and epicenters of paranormal activity. Tours run every 10 minutes from 7:00 to 8:30 and last about 1 hour each. Guides lead participants from site to site\, where ghoulish storytellers await dressed in period attire from Colorado’s past. Fun for young and old alike\, the tour is a fine mix of facts\, frights\, and tongue-in-cheek muses. New routes and stories are added annually & many patrons return year after year.

The Retreat is a community-supported nonprofit run by community volunteers. \nFriday\, September 13th and Saturday\, September 14th. The topic this year is Sustainability\, specifically\, Water Use and Open Space and Recreation. Friday’s session will be at the Buck Center in Littleton in the afternoon. It will be a classroom setting with expert speakers! On Saturday\, we’ll take the information we learned into the field with a morning tour of Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield\, a Community Lunch at noon\, and a bike tour along a portion of the South Platte River\, from South Platte Park to South Platte Renew.
