SUMMARY:Littleton Twilight Criterium
DESCRIPTION:The annual Audi Denver Littleton Twilight Criterium bike race\, held the first Saturday in August\, brings family fun to a block party environment in Downtown Littleton. As professional men’s and women’s bike teams speed by\, enjoy the live bands\, beer garden\, kids activities\, cool bars\, and hot restaurants. In 2023\, the race was honored with the Best Event award from the 2023 Governor’s Awards for Downtown Excellence\, presented in April by Downtown Colorado\, Inc. The awards recognize outstanding projects and people in Colorado who demonstrate creativity in the face of challenges\, unlikely and enduring partnerships\, and dedication to the community to further downtown initiatives. \nThe day includes 11 races ranging from a junior’s division in the afternoon to the men’s and women’s pro divisions under the lights in the evening. In total\, more than 500 racers will compete on the NASCAR-style circuit through the streets of Downtown Littleton\, making it the largest road cycling race in Colorado. \nThere will be live music by Journey tribute band Those Crazy Nights\, food trucks\, a beer garden\, a “cruiser” ride through the course open to everyone\, and a dedicated family area. The races run from to 10 p.m.\, and the entire event is free to attend.

DESCRIPTION:One of the biggest parades in the southwest metro area! Featuring equestrians\, high school marching bands from across the state\, tractors\, floats\, and FUN! National Anthem to be sung from the announcing stage TBD. \nFREE parking is available at Arapahoe Community College\, 5900 S. Santa Fe Drive\, Depot Art Gallery 2069 W. Powers Avenue\, Littleton Center\, 2255 W. Berry Avenue \nA school bus shuttle is available to take parade entry participants from Arapahoe Community College to the parade staging area at Gallup and Littleton Boulevard. \nParade Route\, Parking\, Staging and Equestrian Route Map \nThe Western Welcome Week Parade — 95 years of Celebrating Community! Sadly\, the parade was not held in 2020 due to the pandemic. The parade was the only event that had been held every year until 2020. \nDon’t forget the Craft Fair and concessions in downtown Littleton before and after the parade from 8am to 4pm! Entertainment after the parade at approximately noon. \nWe wish to thank those who give of their time and talents to ensure the WWW Grand Parade is a success: Parade Stagers — Littleton Rotary\, GraceFull Cafe volunteers\, and Platte Canyon Sertoma; Scouting America Troop 989 — Super Dooper Pooper Scoopers; Scouting America Troop 114 — Banner carriers; and of course our wonderful Parade Chairs!

The response to the festival has catapulted it into the fastest-growing show in Colorado and to being a Nationally top 40 ranked show out of over 600 festivals in the country and we are the best place to find affordable arts in Denver!  Just in case saving hundreds\, if not thousands\, of dollars wasn’t enough fun\, we have coffee and pastries for the throngs of art lovers who show up hours before we open the gates\, you’ll know that your admission price will help students get scholarships at the Arapahoe Community College and when you buy too much art to carry to your vehicle\, we have a team of golf cart drivers waiting at the exit to whisk you to your car.
