SUMMARY:Metal Casting for Jewelry
DESCRIPTION:Learn how to cast metal with cuttlebone. Cuttlebone has a unique texture that can enhance the work. Create a jewelry pendant\, keychain\, or small sculptural object. In this process\, you will create a two-part mold with the cuttlebone. Then you will use a torch to melt and pour the metal directly in the cuttlebone. This is an incredibly quick way to design and complete a cast piece. Participants will be able to cast more than once depending on the design. No experience is needed. \nACC On Campus Course: Art & Design Center \nMaterials are provided. Workshop attendees should wear closed toed shoes.

The store\, located in downtown Littleton at 2430 West Main Street\, will welcome music enthusiasts from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM on opening day! \nRecords on Main represents the culmination of a lifelong dream for founder and audiophile Marshall Chernin\, who remains in the hospital following a serious motorcycle accident at the end of March. While Marshall cannot physically attend the opening\, his vision for creating a community space centered around the love of vinyl records is being realized through the dedication of his family. \n“Opening this store has been my dad’s passion project\,” said Cassie Chernin\, Marshall’s daughter and co-owner. “While he’s still recovering in the hospital\, we knew bringing his dream to life was the best way to realize his vision. The outpouring of support from the Littleton community has been incredible.” \nThank you Littleton!
