Littleton Community Retreat: Living Sustainably

Littleton Community Retreat: Living Sustainably

Protecting our Water While Enjoying our Open Spaces

The mission of the Littleton Community Retreat is to educate citizens about issues of importance to the Littleton Community. The Retreat is a community-supported nonprofit run by community volunteers.

Friday, September 13th and Saturday, September 14th. The topic this year is Sustainability, specifically, Water Use and Open Space and Recreation. Friday’s session will be at the Buck Center in Littleton in the afternoon. It will be a classroom setting with expert speakers! On Saturday, we’ll take the information we learned into the field with a morning tour of Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield, a Community Lunch at noon, and a bike tour along a portion of the South Platte River, from South Platte Park to South Platte Renew. Look for more details on the ‘Coming Events’ tab.
