The initial Board consists of nine (9) appointed members and one (1) City Council representative. Members serve staggered terms until their term ends. Members may be reappointed to serve a new four year term. A member representing the Littleton City Council shall serve at the pleasure of the Littleton City Council, and shall be a non-voting Member of the Board except to cast a vote in the event of a tie vote.

Each LDDA Board Member, except the representative from the Littleton City Council, shall be appointed in accordance with eligibility requirements and the Chair and the Members of the LDDA Board shall manage the affairs of the Authority.  The LDDA Board may recommend a prospective LDDA Board Member(s) to the City Council.  The Littleton City Council is not obligated to appoint LDDA Board Members nominated by the Authority and may appoint LDDA Board Members of their own selection.
